The honest truth about this
The breakfast is a delightful experience with an à la carte menu served in a beautiful garden. Staff are attentive, always ready to help with local recommendations and bookings.
The lack of an elevator makes navigating the steep stairs challenging, especially with luggage. Some noise from the surroundings can disrupt your relaxation, particularly during early mornings.

The gardens present a serene escape, perfect for unwinding with a glass of port wine during sunset. The building's charming design evokes a quaint atmosphere with its sweeping staircases and elegant furnishings throughout the common areas.
Noise pollution from the restaurant disrupts the tranquil intent of the space. it echoes through the garden view rooms, especially late into the night. the absence of elevators poses a challenge with heavy luggage or those who may have mobility restrictions due to the steep staircase.

Definitely recommend it for families
What can I say about the check-in experience? we were seated in these comfortable chairs, given a drink, and the host helped with my Portuguese, which was a nice touch. The garden was peaceful too, felt like an oasis, where the kids could play while I enjoyed my port wine in the evening.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but still worth it.
